Newman Building Solutions can complement all of our services using Rope Access (abseil or craddle) to carry out structural inspections and reports as well as Structural Repairs and Maintenance.
There are a number of benefits of utilising rope access as opposed to traditional methods of access such as the speed of which access can be set up, often taking hours as opposed to weeks for scaffolding. It is far cheaper to carry out surveys and installations minimising costs, when considering the cost to scaffold a high rise structure or a bridge for instance.
We can carry out a full range of surveys such as concrete inspection, wall tie surveys, brickwork survey and inspections for maintenance. These services are particularly useful when carrying out feasibility and estimations for repairs and refurbishment.
We also use rope access for installation of structural repairs such as crack stitching, repointing, wall tie replacement, concrete repair and brick slip reinstatement. As well as the specialist services we provide we also carry out general maintenance such as painting, mastic sealing, gutter clearing, glazing etc.
Rope access is an extremely safe solution for access requirements with all of our staff being time served specialists and holding IRATA training. All works are supervised by a level 3 IRATA trained technician, this qualification alone means over 2000 ours of rope access work has been carried out to achieve this.
Our Health and Safety standards are very high throughout the company and with the potential implications working from rope access impose; we implement strict health and safety procedures. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SMAS worksafe approved.
